His goal is to see cooperation (versus separation) of church and state. He has also served as the Chaplain for the St. Clair County Sheriff Department since April of 2002.  He oversees all Spiritual Life programming at the Intervention Center.

Tom has been married to his wife Brenda since 1979 and they have 3 married children - Rebecca (Aaron), Andrea (Joshua) and Andrew (Caitlyn), and 4 grandchildren. Rev. Dr. Seppo and wife reside in Lakeport, Michigan.

Brenda currently oversees all financial and human relations procedures, writes grants, and assists other OT staff members in any way she can.
