Executive Director - Andrew Seppo
Rev. Dr. Andrew Seppo was born and raised in Port Huron, and grew up actively involved in ministry (including Operation Transformation) from an early age. Having been involved in volunteering with spiritual groups, events and outreaches during high school and college, Andrew thrives on merging the spiritual with practical life.
Andrew graduated from Port Huron Northern High School, received his B.S. degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University, and is a Licensed Minister through Christ For the Nations (in Dallas Texas).
Andrew and his wife Caitlyn lived in Holland, Michigan, where they opened and ran a successful chiropractic clinic for 5 years. During this time, they were also active in ministry opportunities including: church planting, worship leading, coordinating small groups, young adult ministries and serving on a non-profit board. Through these experiences, Andrew felt a calling into full-time ministry.
Andrew is passionate about seeing the local church and community of the Blue Water area flourish. He is excited to lead Operation Transformation in its’ next chapter to come alongside faith and civic organizations to transform the community.
Director Emeritus- Tom Seppo
Rev. Dr. Tom Seppo has been the Executive Director for Operation Transformation since January of 2002. (He was a full-time, ordained minister for 20 years preceding that at a church in Port Huron.) Tom meets regularly with church and community leaders to find ways to collaborate on specific projects, and be the “light and salt” that Jesus spoke of. His goal is to see cooperation (versus separation) of church and state. He has also served as the Chaplain for the St. Clair County Sheriff Department since April of 2002. He oversees all Spiritual Life programming at the Intervention Center.
Tom has been married to his wife Brenda since 1979 and they have 3 married children - Rebecca (Aaron), Andrea (Joshua) and Andrew (Caitlyn), and 6 grandchildren. Rev. Dr. Seppo and wife reside in Lakeport, Michigan.
Outreach Coordinator - Randy Bennett
Rev. Randy Bennett is the OT Outreach Coordinator for our Mentor Ministry, Foster Care Ministry, and Connect Group Ministry. The experiences and insights from Randy's 35 years of pastoral ministry in several churches provides a broad view of how ministry happens in the real world. Most recently, Randy was pastor of the Blue Water Free Methodist Church in Kimball, near Port Huron, MI for 9 years, including Harbor Impact, an outreach ministry, which has had a significant impact throughout the greater Port Huron area with many churches involved. The transition to do ministry with OT was not hard because of his years of involvement in the Port Huron community; Randy's new passion to “come alongside churches and ministries and encourage them” is a call God placed on his heart years ago.
Randy and his wife, Judy, have been married for nearly 40 years. They have 2 daughters, Katie and Amelia, and 4 grandchildren, Paiton, Brooklinn, Tatum and Tray. Randy has a love for long distance bicycling and working on his home. They live in Port Huron and love their Victorian home life.
Financial Bookkeeper/Executive Assistant - Cait Seppo
Caitlyn (Cait) Seppo grew up in Brooklyn, MI heavily involved in gymnastics. Her gymnastics career took her to the University of Kentucky where she competed collegiately and came to know Jesus. Upon graduating with a degree in Kinesiology she pursued a Doctorate in Chiropractic where she also met and married Andrew.
Cait and Andrew ran their chiropractic clinic in Holland, MI for 5 years, during which she also served on staff at their home church in campus planting, campus coordinating, and as a young adults ministry assistant.
Cait is excited to continue serving in ministry in this next chapter of life alongside her husband, and as a mother, in this awesome Blue Water community.
