Food Distribution provides regular opportunities for residents of the Blue Water Area to access free groceries and essential items. Please check back often, as new dates are added frequently, and we recommend contacting the hosting church or site the day before to confirm details. Residents are asked to bring identification and bags or boxes to carry their food. If you are interested in hosting a Mobile Food Pantry, you can learn more through the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Forgotten Harvest, or local Hunger & Homelessness resources.

Faith Matters is a community connection point that highlights faith-based events, opportunities, and ministries happening throughout the Blue Water Area. Through a weekly email and online listings, Faith Matters helps local churches and organizations share what God is doing in the community while making it easy for people to discover ways to grow in faith, serve others, and get involved. By bringing these events together in one place, Faith Matters strengthens connections between churches and the community, encouraging collaboration and engagement across the region.

Operation Transformation has a long history of supporting individuals returning to the community. From 2006 to 2014, the organization partnered with the Michigan Prisoner Reentry Initiative to develop a mentoring program that served more than 1,000 returning citizens across eleven counties. In 2019, the program was relaunched with a focused commitment to St. Clair County. Today, trained volunteer mentors, many from local churches, walk alongside individuals referred from the county jail, recovery centers, and halfway houses, offering encouragement, guidance, and friendship as they rebuild their lives.

Connect Groups are welcoming spaces where people can gather, build relationships, and explore faith together in a relaxed and supportive environment. Hosted throughout the community, in places like community centers, local businesses, restaurants, and even the county jail, these groups create natural opportunities for conversation and connection. Using resources such as Alpha, Life Recovery Bible Studies, and The Chosen video series, participants are invited to ask questions, grow spiritually, and experience authentic community. Led by volunteers from local churches, Connect Groups are helping people across the county discover hope, healing, and faith together.
