Karen Palka is an entrepreneur and founder of the nonprofit A Beautiful Me, which has empowered females of all ages for more than 18 years, reaching over 13,000 girls across southeast Michigan.
Originally a graphic designer by trade, Karen felt God calling her to step into a new path, developing what would become A Beautiful Me. Along the way, she witnessed unexpected provisions, including securing a trademark for the name after an 18-month journey with a pro bono attorney, even amid challenges from a celebrity seeking to use the same name. Then opened a retail store to support the nonprofit mission as dress donations multiplied like rabbits. A powerful reminder that God has plans for A Beautiful Me far beyond what she could see.
